It’s Business as Usual at NSM Music

NSM Music UK Sales Manager Alex Kirby answers questions asked since the acquisition by AMI Entertainment was announced in February.

Will the NSM Brand change to AMI?
No – NSM is a very well-known brand throughout the UK and Europe and it will carry on as it has over the last five decades.

Will NSM products now change to Ami products?
No – NSM will carry on to produce the very popular icon range, these products have paved the way in the UK as market leading iconic solutions for the music sector and we will carry on to develop the range as we always have but now with even more investment and backing from Ami Entertainment creating even more exciting new products for the future.

Will we change our business model to follow your competitors cash box share business model?
No, and I want to stress this, NSM Music will continue to offer the UK normal business model with NO cash
box share! Unless, of course, this is something the UK operators request.

What does the acquisition mean for NSM Music?
It will pave the way for even better operator support and exciting new products for UK and European customers. Together both companies are stronger in terms of product development and innovation. NSM has recently announced major developments in virtual and contactless products
and there’s more cutting edge development on the way here in the UK. Customers will benefit from increased investment in products and services.

Will the way NSM Music is managed change?
The day-to-day operations of NSM will not change. We’ll continue to support all customers from our headquarters in Leeds. We’ll continue to offer the same great products, music and quality of service that all our UK and European customers value. We have a successful business model that will not change, the future for us all here is very exciting.

Will there be changes to current service levels and charges as a result of the acquisition?
No.

So it’s definitely business as usual?
Yes.
